my story
My name is Pinkie Ramovha and I hold a Diploma in Financial Management and Hospitality Management. Little did I know that these two educational backgrounds would be the core of my business.

Never in a million years did I think I would end up as a baker, for one, I didn't like baked goods and never used to eat cake. From a young age, I have always loved art, creating beadwork, hand-painting, drawing, being innovative, and creating DIY projects at home.
​
Art for me is getting into the zone of happiness, creativity, calmness, and patience, and I now display my love for art through the medium of cake.
​
I had been working in the Hospitality industry for the past 11 years as a hospitality manager where I coordinated weddings. One day my colleague asked me to bake a birthday cake for her, which then led to many more orders after that, I found myself enjoying my side hustle more than my actual job.
​
Eventually, the demand from the cake business got too much, and I resigned from work to pursue my passion.
Due to my line of work, I did not struggle to find wedding cake clientele, when I interacted with brides they felt comfortable with me as I was handling most aspects of their wedding.
​
This is how I grew in the field of wedding cakes, and they are my favourite cakes to create. I feel blessed and honoured to be trusted with a couple's dream and being able to bring it to life gives me the greatest joy.
I love being a part of beautiful celebrations, seeing the smiles on their faces when they see what I have created makes my job worth every sweat.
